Looking for a fresh and light salad recipe? This dish from Angela and Joe at Le Plain Canvas could be what you're looking for.
"This is a fig Caprese!" say Angela and Joe. "Yes, we're talking figs with cheese. The ripe fresh figs replace the tomatoes, making this a fruity yet savoury addition to your dinner table."
Figs are amazing for helping to support our wellness. Full of vitamins A and K, figs can help to support our eye health, immunity and wound healing. Plus, figs are also a valuable source of a number of minerals including calcium (needed for bone health), iron (makes red blood cells and important for women with heavy periods) and magnesium (needed for energy).
