Fig and mozzarella salad recipe

Figs are amazing for helping to support our wellness. Full of vitamins A and K, figs can help to support our eye health, immunity and wound healing. Plus, figs are also a valuable source of a number of minerals including calcium (needed for bone health), iron (makes red blood cells and important for women with heavy periods) and magnesium (needed for energy).

Fig and mozzarella salad recipe


  • 8-10 ripe fresh figs

  • 2 fresh mozzarella balls approx 4oz/120g each

  • Small handful fresh basil leaves

  • 1 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt


  1. Cut the figs into halves or quarters and arrange on a plate.

  2. Tear the mozzarella into rough chunks and arrange among the figs.

  3. Sprinkle the fresh basil over the salad, then dress with extra virgin olive oil and the sea salt.
