Vegan cacao truffle recipe

Ingredients
1 ½ cups of walnuts
10 pitted medium-sized dates
¼ cup of cacao
¼ teaspoon of sea salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons of water
Method
Begin by thoroughly blending the walnuts in a food processor or blender. Next, add the cacao and pitted dates.
Blend the mixture and then add the sea salt, pure vanilla extract, and one tablespoon of water. Check the consistency. You want to be able to roll the mixture into balls, approximately two inches in size.
You may need to add additional water until you can roll the mixture into balls. You should end up with about a dozen truffles. Keep them in the fridge in a plastic container with a secure lid. You can also keep them in the freezer.
